Synology is preparing to release their newest dual-band WiFi router, the RT2600ac. Corresponding to the latest 802.11ac wave 2 standard, this powerful home router is built with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, a 512MB DDR3 RAM, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card reader, a WPS button, 1x USB 2.0 port, 1x USB 3.0 port, 1x Internet WAN port and 4x LAN ports (1x port can be used for dual Internet WAN).
Equipped with MU-MIMO and Beam Forming technology, the RT2600ac supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 800Mbps and 5GHz – 1733Mbps) and provides security through encryption using WEP, WPA/WPA2-Personal and WPA/WPA2-Enterprise.
The Synology RT2600ac will hit the market from late July for around 30,000 Yen (about $264). [Product Page]
